Anjali is an Oxfordshire-based company for dancers with learning disabilities offering professional dance training for aspiring young dancers, as well as workshops and education projects. The company recently completed a hugely successful 14-venue UK and international tour of its new production, Genius,  including performances in Barcelona and Mexico, as part of a British Council-supported visit, where they received standing ovations.

Rock band The Reaper shot parts of their latest music video in studio 1 over the Easter bank holiday weekend. Michael Haynes, Cinematographer said "We are filming in several other locations later in the month but The Factory shoot will make up a substantial part of the film".

Personally I think that The Reaper were awesome, definitely one to watch.  

DogBelly Films and arthrofilm's joint production 'The Blood of Our Fathers', a short horror film is release and will be submitted to horror film festivals in 2018. Congratulations the all the cast and crew, this is a great achievement from a one day production.

arthrofilm's latest feature film, BITE is green lite and goes into production on the 10th November at The Factory, arthrofilm's dedicated studios in the Midlands.  BITE is a horror thriller and will be filmed in three phases between now and Spring 2018. Release is anticipated in late 2018 with an estimated running time of 90 minutes.

Arthrofilm Studios' launch party starts the countdown to principle photography for our horror thriller feature film BITE. With a Halloween Horror theme and fancy dress, the atmosphere was fantastic. The highlights saw dance choreographer Robert Sherwood teach everyone the dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller video and tours of the film set. Special thanks also go to Alison and Andy Whitfield and Queenie Goudie for co-ordinating the event.

THE FACTORY studios welcomes MovieWorks International Stunt and Fight Crew, who have taken up residence, expanding their team, undertaking weekly training sessions and choreographing fight sequences  for feature films. MovieWorks will also be involved in arthrofilm's forthcoming horror thriller BITE.

Production on arthrofilm's latest creation 3Wishes is scheduled for early June. We hope to finalise the cast this week after considering over a thousand applications for this project. 3Wishes is a poignant and thought provoking drama which will be shot on the elusive Red Raven and with a talented and experienced crew on board, we have high expectations for this festival short film.

We are delighted to announce that award winning Director of Photography Neil Oseman will be joining the Vanguard Project. His latest film The Little Mermaid is due out soon and the trailer has already been viewed over 10 million times!

Arthrofilm team take on the Christmas challenge to create two short films in two days. Today, with a crew of ten we put in an 18 hour day to create the horror short BEHEMOTH, written and directed by James Owen and filmed on Canon's C300 mark II. Watch out for behind the scenes images and a festival release in due course.

Digital FilmMaker Magazine published the next article on the making of VANGUARD. In this issue we discuss the business of creating a feature film, including some valuable advise from our entertainment lawyer and top tips about tax credits and setting up a limited company. 

Today we film a horror short with the working title UNDER THE BED, co-written by James Owen and Daniel MacGregor Gill and directed by James Owen. This is the first of two short films in two days for the arthrofilm team. We will publish some behind the scenes images soon and will aim to release this as a festival short film this year.

Members of the arthrofilm team enjoyed a crazy weekend helping The Film & TV Company make this post-apocalyptic zombie short film, providing the film locations and assisting with production. Based on a screenplay by James Owen and directed by Tony Jopia.

DFM issue 41 features an article on the making of the Vanguard proof of concept teaser, with behind the scenes images and commentary from the director including ten tips for filmmakers based on our experience.

Vanguard proof of concept teaser trailer is released on Halloween. With the huge support of our fans it was viewed over one thousand times in the first 24 hours. Thank you to everyone involved in this exciting project.

Director & Producer James Owen and Associate Producer & Casting Director Simon Marriott pitched Vanguard to the Film Marketplace at the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham, hosted by the Producers' Forum and attended by companies like The Works Film Group, Creativity Capital, Bankside Films, Creative England, British Film Institute and BBC Films. This was a fantastic opportunity to meet other producers from around the country and discuss ideas and projects.

Issue 40 is published containing our second  article which focusing on the production team and auditions. 

Congratulations to Ash Madni, our music composer and Marco Streccioni at Stone recording studios in Rome. The theme music and score for the teaser trailer was recorded in x today and sounds fantastic.

Vanguard director James Owen and music composer Ash Madni were interviewed this morning by Phil Kennedy on BBC Radio Oxford.

Arthrofilm crew have spent 3 days filming the Tadstock charity music festival near Burford in Oxfordshire. With many artists performing over two stages as well a DJ in the woods, this was a superb festival. We were delighted to have supported Tadstock in association with the CCP transforming lives charity. 

WOW ! That was such an amazing weekend shoot with a cast and crew of over 30 very talented people working incredible hard. We finished at 10.30pm on Sunday. This was a very ambitious project, filming scenes from 27 pages of the script but with three seperate units filming on the last day we made it. The rushes look awesome and I am now more confident than ever that this film is heading to the top. Thanks to team Vanguard.

Arthrofilm is delighted to announce Hollywood based Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Jai Khanna will be an Executive Producer on Vanguard. Considered one of the most innovative and successful manager-producers in the industry,

Khanna says “This is an exceptional script and we are keen to support James’ creative vision”.

The Vanguard team had an amazing day auditioning at The Custard Factory in Birmingham on Saturday. The quality of the acting was superb and it was very hard to make the choices. A huge thank you to everyone who attended. We will soon be shooting the Teaser Trailer. 

We are delighted to welcome Ash Madni, International Music Composer to the Vanguard team here at arthrofilm. His fusion of western and eastern classical music will elevate the music score to another level.

Our production team was out in force today for the first wave of auditions in London.

arthrofilm is delighted to announce that Movies4Men will premiere SUICIDE PLATOON at 6.50pm on Saturday June 11th. This world war II action drama is the result of a colaboration between many very talented individuals and we are delighted to have been a part of this.

Pre-production on our gripping new feature film Vanguard is full speed ahead with plans for auditions in London next month. This is going to be a very exciting project!

We took arthrofilm back to the frontier town of Laredo for a wild west shoot out with the Film & TV Company and MovieWorks International, creating TV promos. The most fun ever in one day! 

What an amazing day, gorgeous weather and wonderful people. Creating TV promos. Well done to MovieWorks International for some amazing stunts in the woods on the Shuckburgh estate.

Another colaborative project with The Film&TV Company Ltd, producing promotional clips for UK television. With a cameo infront of the lens! 

We are delighted to have colaborated with The Film&TV Company Ltd, Jopia Productions, Movieworks International, Abbas Films&Games Ltd, Post Office Studios and CC Art Productions on this really exciting TV Pilot, a World War II action drama called Suicide Platoon. We wrapped in the early hours after a 4 day shoot on a country estate in the Midlands. 

From their attic hideaway Alfie and Tobias Johnston plan a heist of their favorite biscuits from the supermarket home delivery but they are not the only ones on a mission. They must outwit a ninja and a giant reptile if they are to succeed.

Filming is now complete on Lifecycles. Congratulations and huge thanks to the dedicated cast and crew for the early morning starts at the weekends. After a few hours of additional photography over christmas we now have a provisional edit.
